Providing programmatic, quality primary health care

The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us that we need a strong healthcare system that is able to adapt to various complex challenges. Saint Kitts and Nevis deserves a better healthcare that provides programmatic, quality primary health care to all Kittitians, regardless of their social status. A healthcare system for all, not just a few.

Skill building and youth employment.

Our youth deserve better opportunities. They need to know that their future in Saint Kitts and Nevis is secure, they need to have the guarantee that they will find jobs here, in their own country. Skill building and youth employment will be at the forefront of the Labour priorities for the next Government, as it will allow all young Kittitians to find their place in the country that they love.

Providing quality and affordable housing.

One of the things that the Labour Party really wants to focus on is better housing for all Kittitians. Providing quality and affordable housing will be a priority for our government, as it will allow many of our citizens to expand their families and to exponentially increase their standard of living. Saint Kitts and Nevis deserves better housing, our people deserve to live comfortably for the rest of their lives!

Creating recreational spaces and zones for business development.

The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us how important it is to have a diverse business environment across the country. Our country needs to build up its private sector and branch out to develop recreational spaces and zones for business development. Tourism will always bring a lot of money in Saint Kitts and Nevis, but we have to be sure that we have other means of prosperity as well! A better business environment, for the future!

Providing a stable, people-centered government.

Our country has been run in a bad way for far too long. A better governance is needed, one that provides a stable, people-centered government. Saint Kitts and Nevis desperately needs a political class that works for the people, not against them. The Kittitians deserve politicians that actually care about their needs, not frauds that want to enrich themselves over and over again. For the people, by the people!

Dealing once and for all with the chronic water shortages by building more rezervoirs.

Saint Kitts and Nevis has to deal once and for all with the chronic water shortages by building more reservoirs across the country. This should be a priority for the next Government, given the impact of climate change across the world. We need to get ready for a future where the weather will become unpredictable, and we need to do all of this in advance! 

Distributing more land for farming in the Green Hill, Bayford's, Miliken, Fountain and White's areas.

Farming is not just a whim, it’s a necessity for most of our people. Saint Kitts and Nevis has the opportunity to feed itself providing that more land is distributed to the Kittitians to use. That’s why the Labour Party will focus on distributing land for farming in the Green Hill, Bayford’s, Miliken, Fountain and White’s areas. The more Kittitians produce their own food, the better for Saint Kitts and Nevis! 

Facilitating more community engagement as part of a holistic strategy on crime.

A better community is a better country. Saint Kitts and Nevis has to have a different approach on crime, one that is based on a holistic strategy that facilitates more community engagement and less law enforcement intervention. People should feel safe all around the country, and not just because they are afraid of the law, but because they respect one another.
